Module Descriptions
Module 1: Getting Started with Pre-ETS
During the first lesson, we will review a brief overview of pre-employment transition services, or Pre-ETS. We will also cover the goals and specific activities for each of the 5 service categories. This will ensure we are all on the same page from the start!
Module 2: Effective Collaboration
Effective collaboration is essential to providing high-quality transition services to students with disabilities. Understanding the core beliefs of transition legislation is important. It holds all team members responsible for providing these services. With this, we will be better prepared to partner for student success.
Module 3: The Work Behind Work-Based Learning
Module 3 focuses on career development stages. We will learn how to support students in work-based learning during high school. Also, we will learn when, why, and how work-based learning can help high school students using Pre-ETS!
Module 4: Work-Based Learning in Action
To put in place a successful work-based learning experience, the last lesson helps by creating a step-by-step process. This will help put into practice what we have learned for future transition services.
