Elevating collaboration, communication, and coordination for pre-ETS in Virginia
Virginia's Collaborative Model for Pre-Employment Transition Services equips stakeholders with best practices to implement pre-ETS and enhance postsecondary outcomes for students with disabilities.
Demonstrating partnership in action
Funded by the Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services, our project underscores the importance of shared responsibility in delivering pre-ETS. By enhancing services for students at an earlier age, we are moving students closer to reaching their intended post-school goals and showcasing the power of collaborative work.
Our work is data-driven and practical
Our work involves collaborating with school divisions, DARS, pre-ETS providers, students, and families at pilot sites across Virginia. Through needs assessments, focus groups, and observations, our project team collects data to develop training and resources for all stakeholders across Virginia. The best practices shared in this resource hub aim to enhance the provision of pre-ETS through intentional collaboration, communication, and coordination.
